Bharatendu Kabi, a seasoned communications professional with over two decades of experience in the corporate sector, has joined JSW as Executive Vice President and Group Head of Media & Communications, effective August 1, 2024. Kabi shared this news in a LinkedIn post, expressing his excitement: “Delighted to update that effective August 1, 2024, I have begun the new chapter of my professional journey as Executive VP and Group Head – Media & Communications at the US$24 billion JSW, one of India’s fastest growing conglomerates.”
Before joining JSW, Kabi served as the Head of Corporate Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility at Hero MotoCorp, where he worked for over 19 years. He joined Hero in 2005 after a six-year stint with PepsiCo. He was a journalist with Press Trust of India (PTI) from 1995 -1999.
As he embarks on this new chapter, Kabi will be relocating to Mumbai, following nearly three decades of living and working in the Delhi-Gurgaon region.
