Ramkumar Uppara has been appointed as Director of PR and Communications at Crisil. In this role, he will spearhead the company’s external and internal communications strategy across India and key global markets, including the US and UK.
With over 20 years of experience in public relations and corporate communications, Ramkumar brings a wealth of expertise to the role. Prior to joining Crisil, he served as Senior Vice President at Ujjivan Small Finance Bank, where he played a pivotal role in establishing the brand as a leading mass-market bank among small finance banks in India.
Ramkumar’s career also includes leadership positions at Ketchum Sampark, part of the Omnicom Group, and a senior managerial role at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals. In these positions, he successfully drove impactful communication strategies, contributing to significant business growth and brand visibility.
