Tata Tea Gold Care, in collaboration with Wavemaker, has launched a pioneering Advanced TV campaign that harnesses real-time weather data to deliver personalized advertising messages. This innovative approach focuses on reinforcing the brand’s health benefits, especially during the monsoon season. The campaign uses addressable ads that dynamically adapt to current weather conditions, ensuring relevance and resonance with consumers. For instance, in Bengaluru, the ads emphasized health and immunity benefits whenever it rained, aligning the messaging with the audience’s immediate needs.

To enhance localization, GroupM developed region-specific creatives in Kannada and Bengali for Bengaluru and Kolkata audiences. As the campaign progressed, the focus shifted to Hindi creatives, ensuring variety and avoiding ad fatigue. The weather-responsive Hindi ads proved 22.5% more effective in long-term impact compared to standard creatives. Additionally, addressable audiences demonstrated a 12.5% higher engagement rate with the dynamic ads, highlighting the effectiveness of personalized messaging.
