JSW Sports has announced the elevation of Divyanshu Singh as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), succeeding Mustafa Ghouse, who will continue to contribute as a Director on the board.
Singh has been with JSW Sports for over eight years, playing a pivotal role in shaping its commercial and operational functions. He joined the organisation in 2017 to set up the Sales and Marketing division, driving growth across marquee franchises such as Bengaluru FC, Haryana Steelers, and Delhi Capitals, along with initiatives like the Inspire Institute of Sport. His leadership expanded further in 2021 when he managed the Haryana Steelers, guiding them to consecutive Pro Kabaddi League finals. By 2023, he was promoted to Chief Operating Officer, where he oversaw the company’s broader sports portfolio.
Announcing the leadership change, Parth Jindal, Founder of JSW Sports, praised Singh’s vision and commitment: “Divyanshu has been a part of the JSW family for eight years. I have complete confidence that under his leadership, JSW Sports will keep pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved in Indian sport.”
On his elevation, Singh expressed gratitude and outlined his vision: “The last eight years at JSW Sports have been the best of my professional career. My goal is to build on our legacy and establish JSW Sports as a market leader with a wider lens on sport that goes beyond the spectator market.”
