Moving beyond boardroom gravitas, healthspan and longevity educator Prashant Desai has issued a dramatic public wager on the lofty promises of the new longevity economy. On LinkedIn, Desai challenged Deepinder Goyal — best known as the co-founder of Zomato — over his latest venture Continue’s vision, which aims to help people live 100 more years up to 180 years in good health.
Known for his science-first approach to and ageing, Desai called the GOAL “biologically challenging” and cautioned that such visions risk creating “false hope” at a time when modern lifestyles already shorten lifespans. Citing science backed metabolic laws and proven disease risks, he framed his ₹1-crore wager as a test of conviction, not spectacle.
