Citroën India has announced its partnership with the JK Tyre National Racing Championship (JKNRC) 2025 as the Official Car Partner, marking a strategic step to strengthen its presence in the country’s motorsport ecosystem.
As part of the collaboration, Citroën vehicles will take on dynamic roles such as safety cars, while also being featured in high-energy displays including choreographed stunts, drift acts, and track showcases. The partnership aims to align Citroën’s global motorsport legacy with India’s premier racing platform, engaging enthusiasts through performance, design, and immersive brand experiences.
With a storied history in rallying—featuring icons like the Xsara WRC and DS3 WRC, and a record tally of nine Drivers’ Championships with Sébastien Loeb—Citroën brings deep motorsport credibility to this partnership.
Shailesh Hazela, MD & CEO, Stellantis India, said the move celebrates Citroën’s rallying DNA and engineering excellence, while Sanjay Sharma, Head of Motorsport at JK Tyre, noted that Citroën’s rally legacy makes it an ideal partner to elevate the championship.
The 2025 JKNRC began at Coimbatore’s Kari Motor Speedway in August and will conclude in November, with Citroën playing a central role in the action.
