AWS’s head of marketing for India and South Asia.Amazon Web Services has named Milind Pande to lead its marketing operations in India and South Asia, a clear indication of AWS’s intent to extend its reach into a rapidly advancing region.

Pande has over 16 years of multichannel experience across information technology, media and consulting, and has extensive experience in B2B marketing, strategic planning, and business growth. With that experience, he is poised to propel AWS’s regional outreach while demand for cloud solutions continues to accelerate.  He recently led marketing for AWS India’s Independent Software Vendor segment, and has been instrumental in driving regional growth projects across sales and marketing during his time with the organisation for the past six years.

In this role, Pande will lead efforts in brand strategy, demand generation, thought leadership, and go-to-market across various customer segments. His appointment is significant as the adoption of cloud and AI grows across industries in India.

Pande has an ISB MBA, focusing on strategy and marketing, and is a former employee of Vodafone India and Viacom18 in leadership roles. He also has an active presence in both climate and social initiatives.
