India’s gaming industry is soaring, and to fuel its next big leap, the Bharat Tech Triumph Program (TTP) has been launched under the Create in India Challenge Season 1. Organized by the Interactive Entertainment and Innovation Council (IEIC) in partnership with the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB), this initiative aims to spotlight Indian gaming talent on the world stage.
The program will culminate at two global showcases—the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2025 in San Francisco (March 17–21) and the World Audio Visual & Entertainment Summit (WAVES) 2025 in Mumbai (May 1–4). WAVES, a first-of-its-kind event at Jio World Convention Centre & Gardens, will serve as a global convergence point for the Media & Entertainment (M&E) industry, with a focus on Broadcasting, AVGC-XR, Digital Media, and Film. The AVGC-XR segment (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics, AR, VR, Metaverse) perfectly aligns with TTP’s mission—to elevate Indian gaming, animation, and immersive technology innovators.
The Bharat Tech Triumph Program is open to developers, studios, startups, and tech companies across gaming, esports, and gaming solutions. Participants with a working prototype will get the chance to compete for full sponsorship to present their games, IPs, and tech innovations at GDC 2025 and WAVES 2025, gaining unparalleled exposure to global industry leaders.
This is India’s moment to shine in the global gaming arena! Are you ready to level up?
