The competition unfolds in three stages, beginning with online qualifiers where participants will submit their work. A preliminary jury will select 10 students and 10 professional contestants to advance to the Zonal Finals, taking place in Chandigarh, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Kolkata. The zonal winners will then compete in a 24-hour VFX Marathon Grand Finale at the WAVES Summit in Delhi from 5th to 9th February 2025, where a National Award-winning jury will evaluate their entries.

This challenge reflects the government’s commitment to strengthening India’s AVGC ecosystem by providing emerging VFX artists with a platform for national recognition and career advancement. Registration is open now, with further details available at www.wafx.abai.avgc.in or by contacting wafx@abai.avgc.in.
